FRAME members, from the Board and committees, came together November 2-3, 2019 in New York City for our inaugural annual retreat to devise a plan for 2020. As an organization in its infancy, it was the first time many members met, and they had the opportunity to work together to push forward FRAME’s mission.

One of the biggest initiatives for FRAME is the research that needs to be conducted in order to fully comprehend muscle pain and how it can be treated properly.

Several engaging discussions ensued that helped create the plan for 2020, which involves not only understanding patient outcomes of current pain treatments, but also including real-time information from the preeminent pain centers located here in New York City. Artificial intelligence will be used to analyze this information.

These analyses will drive the next research project: clinical research.

In order for this initiative to happen, FRAME discussed its other initiative: fundraising. In addition to the fundraising dinner, FRAME members added a second event, a golf tournament.

Thank you to Accenture for hosting our retreat and we look forward to our continued collaboration.
