Driven by Purpose:

Dr. Norman
Marcus Story

02

Trained in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine, he quickly became a national leader by founding New York City’s first outpatient pain center and an innovative inpatient program at Lennox Hill Hospital.

04

Kraus revealed a truth missing from modern healthcare: muscles are one of the most common, and most overlooked - sources of chronic pain.

06

This sparked his life’s mission: to correct the systemic blind spot that leaves millions misdiagnosed and untreated.

01

Dr. Norman Marcus’s career spans more than four decades of groundbreaking work in chronic pain medicine.

03

But his greatest breakthrough came after meeting Dr. Hans Kraus, the physician who treated President John F. Kennedy.

05

When Dr. Marcus applied this insight, patients who had suffered for years, including those scheduled for spinal surgery, found relief through muscle-focused treatment.

07

He co-founded FRAME Foundation to advance muscle pain research, transform medical education, and advocate for a healthcare system where muscle pain is finally understood and effectively treated.
